Working in partnership with SRBC, Regenerage have been tasked with processing applications for Household Support funding. The funding is intended to cover a wide range of low-income households in need:

  • Households with children
  • Households with pensioners
  • Households with a disabled person
  • Households with unpaid carers
  • Households with a single occupancy
  • Households subject to an unforeseen financial shock

The support provided by this scheme will be determined at the discretion of Regenerage. If an application is successful, vouchers to the value of £50 will be issued and they can be redeemed for food, heating or clothing. Vouchers for clothing can be redeemed at Regenerage shops.

The scheme will also signpost applicants to other sources of advice and support to ensure that you get all the assistance you may be entitled to including Welfare Benefits and Debt
Advice to help address long term needs, before any decisions are made.  Referrals will be accepted from social services, GP’s, social prescribers and direct engagement with Regenerage.

Anyone accessing the scheme, irrespective of source, will be required to complete a self-declaration questionnaire to assess status and level of need.

Eligibility

  • A resident of the South Ribble area
  • Have no more than £2000 in savings or available funds
  • Demonstrate that they are experiencing financial hardship and not have enough resources to meet your immediate short-term needs.
