Bolton furniture collection

Have you recently had a clear-out or have the odd item that’s not ready for the bin? Why not donate it to Regenerage?

We offer furniture collection in Bolton and surrounding areas.

Where do we collect from?

We collect items from within a 12-mile radius of our store. Our store address is:

Middlebrook Charity Superstore,
Middlebrook Retail & Leisure Park,
63 The Linkway,
Horwich,
BL6 6JA

If you’re not sure whether or not you fall within this radius, please contact us.

How does our furniture collection work?

We work in partnership with BoxMove, a specialist company providing collections and deliveries for charities.

Our collection processes depend on your preferences. We can collect items from your room of choice or your doorstep, or we can organise a safe space area. All you need to do is let us know the best option for you when you organise your collection.

It couldn’t be easier! All we ask is that you ensure the item is in a suitable condition to sell.

How does our furniture collection work?

To enable Regenerage to arrange a free collection for you, we need your permission to provide your name, contact details and address to a third party, Boxmove, so that they can collect your goods. If you are happy for us to do so, please click Next on the form below. Your data will be held securely and not shared with any other organisation besides Boxmove.

You can opt-out at any time by contacting hello@regenerage.org.uk

What items do we accept in Bolton?

We accept most household items at our Middlebrook Charity Superstore, including sofas, tables, wardrobes, beds, small electrical items and much more. All items must be in a suitable condition. Unfortunately, if they are not in good condition, we will not be able to accept the items.

While we are happy to accept most items, there are some exceptions regarding legalities and practicalities. For example, we cannot accept soft furnishings without fire labels. We also cannot accept safety items, baby equipment, refrigerators, large wall units, or any item that is not in a sellable condition.

Items we cannot accept at this time…

  • Upholstered donated furniture without a fire label (unless pre-1950s)
  • Soiled/dirty mattresses
  • Roller or Venetian blinds (unless in original packaging with safety instructions included)
  • Donated furniture with unsafe missing parts or damage
    White goods

How else can I donate to Regenerage?

In addition to organising furniture collection, you can also make donations in-store! We are so grateful to the local community for all that they have donated to us over the years.

Your donations help us to support everyone in the North West to live and age well. We provide a range of activities and services to help combat loneliness and support those living with dementia.

Are you looking for another way to support Regenerage? Why not volunteer in Bolton with us? We’d be so pleased to have you on board.

Reviews

Everything was collected absolutely fine. We filled the van. Hope the items raise some good money for you.

The gentleman who collected the goods was excellent. Very friendly and very efficient, a pleasure to deal with.

If I ever have any more goods to donate I will come straight to yourselves, although hopefully I’ll never have that much again!

I have already recommended you to a couple of people and put my experience with you on Facebook. It is such a refreshing change to find a charity these days that will put a little effort into acquiring donated goods.

Thank you for all yours and your teams help. I really appreciate it
